Ethio Telecom has partnered with Dashen Bank and ETTA Solutions to introduce a business automation solution that seamlessly integrates ERP, point of sale (POS), and cash register systems into a single platform.
The solution, named Zoorya, is designed for businesses in industries like hospitality, import/export, manufacturing and retail. It aims to help enterprises modernise their service delivery, optimise business operations, streamline workflows and enable data-driven decision-making.
Ethio Telecom hosts Zoorya on its TeleCloud infrastructure, with the platform developed by ETTA Solutions. Additionally, Zoorya is integrated with Ethio Telecom’s Telebirr payment system, which boasts over 54 million users. Telebirr will also take the lead in promoting and distributing the solution to merchants within the business sector.
Dashen Bank plays a key role in facilitating the foreign currency needed to import the required machines. The bank also offers a ‘buy now, pay later’ financing model for service providers and will ensure easy payment options by integrating the solution with its payment services.
Zoorya facilitates quick and transparent business transactions while enabling secure, contactless payments, contributing to the vision of a cashless society.
Ethio Telecom, Dashen Bank, and ETTA Solutions aim to reach over 10,000 merchants in the next two years.
